Miele Built In Hoods
Achieving optimum extraction of kitchen vapours and odours - while also saving energy: A Miele cooker hood equipped with Con@ctivity 2.0 does this automatically. Miele Con@ctivity 2.0 enables the cooker hood to communicate with the hob. Con@ctivity 2.0 gathers information from the hob and transmits it to the controls in the cooker hood. Your Miele cooker hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting to ensure the optimum room microclimate at all times. So you can concentrate completely on the cooking process. You don't even have to remember to switch off the appliance. With the automatic run-on control, the cooker hood will switch itself off automatically after you have finished cooking so you do not use any more energy than is necessary. Manual operation is also possible.
The customer's wishes are the highest priority for Miele. Design preferences, length of the ducting system, room setup, cooking habits, user height or special requirements – many variables must be taken into consideration when choosing a cooker hood. On request, Miele will adapt the chimney height and the canopy width and depth to your requirements. You also have the option of ordering a cooker hood in a RAL colour of your choice.
Stainless steel grease filters (10-layer)
Miele cooker hoods are equipped with a 10-ply stainless-steel grease filter. The top layers and filter frame are made of high-quality stainless steel. "When you conveniently clean the grease filters in the dishwasher, no visible discolouring will occur," and the Miele grease filters keep their high-quality appearance for a long time.
Located behind the grease filters is the Miele CleanCover: Instead of sharp metal edges and electrical components you will find only a sealed, smooth surface. It is particularly easy to clean and protects you from coming in contact with cables and motor components. Miele attention to detail - for your convenience and safety.
The right solution for every installation situation
Built-in cooker hoods include Miele slimline hoods, built-under hoods, integrated hoods and slot-in hoods. Cooker hoods from this category are suitable for installation underneath or in a wall unit and are offered in both recirculation and extraction mode.
How wide does your cooker hood need to be?
How wide does the cooker hood need to be? This depends firstly on the width of the hob and secondly on the size of your kitchen. It is important for the hood to be slightly wider than the hob below it. Only then can you be certain of capturing all the rising steam and vapours and benefit fully from the hood's power. If there is not enough space for this, then the hood should be at least as wide as the hob. The width of the canopy on many Miele cooker hoods can be made to measure to suit your requirements. Non-standard widths of up to 240 cm are possible for many models.
